Schaedler Excavation

Schaedler Excavating is a family fun business based out of Topsham. Nick Schaedler grew up working for his father concrete company. Excavation has always been a passion of Nick’s since a young age.  While working for his father Nick started taking on side work in the landscaping industry, mowing lawns and installing patios.

Once Nick had his first excavator, he started taking on small excavation jobs. As time went on Nick bought more equipment and decided it was time to step away from landscaping and focus all of his time towards his passion doing excavation. In the building industry it is always nice to know the next guys job.

Nick’s past on the concrete industry has taught him how to leave a site ready for the concrete guys. Nick’s past in landscaping has taught him how to have good working relationships with homeowners and customers. The landscaping past has also created a close attention to detail mentality. Not only do jobs get done above industry standards but at the end of the project, it looks neat and clean, leaving his work as something to be proud of.
